Welcome

Being your doula means being by your side before, during your pregnancy , at the time of your child's birth , postpartum and at every moment of your life , to listen to you, answer your questions, support you in your choices, accompany you in your needs , at your own pace.

I can assist you at home in Paris or the inner suburbs, and welcome you to a space dedicated to parenthood in the 11th arrondissement , the Soon space .

What is a doula?

A doula is a woman who cares for other women, couples, and families.

A doula listens , supports , and accompanies women, couples, and families without judgment in their journeys of conception , pregnancy , childbirth , postpartum , pregnancy termination, and perinatal bereavement.

A doula does not have a medical role; she provides unconditional emotional support, physical and logistical assistance when you feel the need.

About me

I am Iris, I am 38 years old, I have two children aged 4 and 2 and I am a doula in Paris.

For over ten years, I worked in socially responsible philanthropy, convinced of the importance of supporting projects that transform lives. But it was my own experiences of motherhood that changed my path and led me to what now feels like an obvious choice: becoming a doula .

I was incredibly lucky to have the support and guidance of a doula during both of my pregnancies, and I truly believe that, in retrospect, it brought me a great deal of comfort and helped me through difficult times before and after the arrival of my children.

Being your doula means welcoming your uniqueness , your story , and your way of being and doing things, without judgment. It means offering you a space of listening, gentleness , and trust so that you can navigate this transition with greater serenity and confidence.

Emotional support

I offer emotional support in addition to medical pregnancy monitoring, through individual or couple support sessions, at your home.

These listening sessions of 1.5 to 2 hours are an opportunity for you to express your emotions and share your needs and any anxieties related to pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum at your own pace.

Body support with the rebozo

I offer physical support for emotions using the rebozo (traditional Mexican fabric) during pregnancy , postnatally or at every stage of life.

Through rocking , enveloping , squeezing and massaging movements, I accompany you in your sensations and in a reconnection to your body.
